Mayer Brown Hires Pensions Partner In London
21 June 2012 (PLANSPONSOREurope.com) - Global law firm Mayer Brown has appointed Andrew Block as a partner to the Pensions group in London.
Block was previously a partner at Travers Smith, before that having worked and trained at Linklaters.
He advises on a wide range of issues concerning occupational pension schemes, acting for both employers and trustees. This includes advising on the pensions aspects of corporate acquisitions, outsourcings and disposals; advising on scheme mergers; advising on pension scheme investments; advising on changes to benefits; and advising on the day-to-day running of pension schemes.
