Gill will oversee the growth of the business, which currently serves more than 160 clients with assets under management of approximately $5 billion. The Central Region includes Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri and Wisconsin. He will be based at Northern Trust’s headquarters in Chicago. In his most recent role, Gill managed a team of portfolio managers within the Central Region. Gill joined Northern Trust in 2007 as senior portfolio manager and has more than 20 years of investment experience working with both institutional and wealth management clients. Previously, Gill served as chief investment officer at Cole Taylor Bank. Gill earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and an MBA from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. He is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
