VALIC Enhances Web Services

September 18, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – VALIC, retirement plan provider to K-12 schools and school districts, higher education, government and health care institutions, launched enhancements to its online services.

With a new design and streamlined navigation, the website’s enhancements include improved search features, online help and contact information. The VALIC homepage, Plan Sponsor Online, and VALIC Online and Seminar Manager are now combined into a single user experience.

The site also features new video content, showing people at various life stages, enabling visitors to relate and gain a better understanding of their retirement planning needs. Additional educational videos are to come.  Participants will view content relevant to their age, risk tolerance and diversification of assets, to create a more personal online experience.

Private label websites that highlight information about each retirement plan also received these enhancements. These sites will continue to include plan features and information about eligibility and enrollment, contributions, withdrawals and loans, funds, and performance.
