According to World Atlas, it’s soccer, with an estimated global following of 4 billion fans.

It’s interesting what sports fall in World Atlas’ top 10. Following soccer, is cricket with an estimated 2.5 billion fans. field hockey has an estimated 2 billion fans, tennis, 1 billion; volleyball, 900 million; table tennis, 875 million; basketball, 825 million; baseball, 500 million; rugby, 475 million; and golf, 450 million.

Statista ranks soccer as the most popular spectator sport worldwide, followed by ice hockey, American football, baseball and cricket.
