Mercer Hires Principal in International Consulting Group
September 24, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Gemma Baranguan recently joined Mercer’s International Consulting Group (ICG) practice, based in its Chicago office, as a principal.

Baranguan will report to Jean-Philippe Provost, International Consulting Group Practice Leader for North America. She will play a critical role in maintaining and growing the ICG business in Chicago and throughout the Midwest. Mercer’s ICG helps clients manage the costs, risks and complexity of their benefit programs around the world.
Baranguan has more than 15 years of experience working with large multinational companies on a variety of projects such benefit audits and design of benefit plans, pooling, M&A (merger and acquisition) due diligence and post-close integration. Gemma has a BSc honors degree in economics from the University of Manchester (UK) and holds the Institute of Actuaries Diploma in actuarial techniques.
