CBIZ Picks Up CA Accounting Firm

According to a news release, Martynec & Deering’s tax practice and client base complement those of CBIZ Accounting, Tax and Advisory of Orange County, which has a practice in real estate and non-profits and does local and federal government consulting. The addition of Martynec & Deering’s 15 employees brings the total number of employees of CBIZ ATA of Orange County to more than 80. Both offices will consolidate in a new location in August, according to the announcement.  

Martynec & Deering provides business planning and serves business owners and management through tax preparation services as well as accounting and planning, reporting and budgeting. CBIZ is a provider of outsourced business services to small and medium- sized companies in: accounting and tax; employee benefits; wealth management; property and casualty insurance; payroll; IS consulting; and HR consulting.
