Fidelity Names Executives to Fund Supermarket

May 8, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Fidelity Investments on Tuesday announced the appointment of two executives to its FundsNetwork mutual fund supermarket.
Dale Bearden joined Fidelity Personal Investments as senior vice president in charge of FundsNetwork. Terry Green has been named vice president for FundsNetwork retail marketing and fund relationship management. Green reports to Bearden.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Bearden served as senior vice president and head of retirement services for John Hancock Funds where he was responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, client services, and operations. Previously, he was senior vice president and national sales manager for Putnam Investments.

Green is a veteran of Fidelity’s retail telephone investor sales and service unit and most recently headed a group responsible for online and electronic service offerings.

Fidelity FundsNetwork offers investors access to more than 4,500 Fidelity and third-party mutual funds from more than 370 mutual fund companies.
