White House Taps Bradford Campbell for EBSA Post
A White House news release listed Campbell among 10 people being nominated and 10 presidential appointments.
Campbell has been serving as Acting Assistant Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA).
In his new role, Campbell replaces Ann Combs (See EBSA’s Combs Says Farewell to Benefits Regulation )who stepped down from the EBSA post in October 2006 after 5 ½ years and has since taken a position with The Vanguard Group (See Combs to Head Vanguard Strategy Operation ).
Earlier in his career, Campbell also served as senior legislative officer in the Office of Congressional Affairs at the Department of Labor.
Campbell received his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University.
