Software Firm Adds COBRA Site Sign-On Feature
A Travis news release said with new feature, users
can now log into WebCOBRA from their own Web site without
having to remember an additional password. Users
can integrate the sign-in and sign-out functions of
WebCOBRA via their own Web site, intranet, or Windows log
in.
“Security was the top priority when we were
developing the Single Sign On feature,” said Jesse
Wolgamott, president and COO of Travis, in the
announcement. “In order to allow a user to log into
WebCOBRA from their own Web site, we used the same
technology that Amazon.com uses in their Web services. We
create a random secret key that only the user and their
programmers will use, so that they can “Sign In” to
the system and WebCOBRA knows to trust them.”
