According to the announcement, Knight has established Knight Transition Management to provide clients with planning, implementation, and transaction monitoring services for transitioning global, multi-asset class portfolios. The company said it has added an experienced team with a proven track record from Lambright Financial Solutions.

Knight Transition Management will help plan sponsors and investment managers preserve value and mitigate risk in transitions triggered by an asset allocation shift, a change in fund managers, outsized fund flows or a merger of funds, among other events. For each mandate, the group will seek to manage operational and opportunity risk as well as limit market impact costs, and will provide clients with regular transaction updates.
