Heffernan Comes Back to Putnam

Investments announced that Paul P. Heffernan has joined the firm as Northeast director of sales for Putnam Global
Institutional Management.

A Putnam news release said Heffernan will direct all sales outreach and account management to defined benefit clients and prospects in New England, New Jersey, and New York.
Heffernan, who comes to Putnam from EIM Management (USA) Inc., will report to Joseph T. Phoenix, head of Global Institutional Management for Putnam.
Heffernan began his career within Putnam’s investor services group, first serving as a Senior Vice President in Client Services and Relationship Management, then later as a Senior Account Manager, Northeast region, for Putnam Institutional Management, where he worked closely with Putnam’s largest clients in the defined-benefit space.
