Putnam Names Director of DC Consultant Relations

March 11, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Putnam Investments has named Kristin Pelling as director of Defined Contribution (DC) Consultant Relations.

Pelling’s role will focus on large market DC recordkeeping sales and will include responsibility for overseeing support of national and regional consulting firms. Previously this responsibility was shared across Putnam’s large market sales team. Pelling will report to Stephen Jenks, head of Defined Contribution Product & Marketing, and be based in Boston, Massachusetts.

An industry veteran with nearly 20 years of retirement experience, Pelling joins Putnam from Mercer where she held a similar role as principal, director of Consultant Relations. Prior to Mercer, she worked in Consultant Relations roles at Putnam for nine years.
