South Carolina Retirement Systems Chooses The Hartford
According to a press release, The Hartford will provide services and investment options effective July 1, 2005 for the plan with over $286 million in assets and 10,000 participants.
Peggy Boykin, Director of the South Carolina Retirement Systems, cites The Hartford’s “skill in creating a robust menu of investment options for our participants” as a reason for its choice.
According to the news release, The Hartford’s Possibilities program offers an array of investments through a group variable funding agreement ranging from conservative to more aggressive designed to help participants meet their retirement goals by offering options that match their investment objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon.
