All Women Team to Lead AFP

October 15, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - For the first time in its 22-year history, members of the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) have elected a leadership slate made up entirely of women.

Each year, AFP’s membership elects a chairman and two vice chairmen, each of whom serves a one-year term.

This year they have elected Rebecca Flick as chairman. Flick is director of treasury for The Home Depot, where she is responsible for all of the company’s treasury and corporate finance activities, excluding mergers and acquisitions.

The two vice chairs are Denise Laussade, vice president of finance and the primary investor relations contact for Dan River Inc., who will also serve as AFP’s treasurer, and Anne Hollingsworth, who will serve as the association’s secretary and is manager of banking operations for ChevronTexaco Corporation.
