American Express Brings Statements, Forms Online

April 3, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Participants will soon be able to view and download their 401(k) statements online with American Express Retirement Services.

Plan sponsors can choose the new option, effective for first quarter 2001 statements. Participants will still be able to get a paper copy each quarter.

Plan sponsors can also choose to allow participants to access plan-specific forms online, in PDF format, at the ” My Retirement Account ” section of the American Express Retirement and Workplace Services Web site.

Participants can also download, print and submit changes with a paper form, if preferred.

Sponsors can choose from the following set of forms:

  • beneficiary form
  • enrollment form
  • rollover contribution form
  • rollover letter of instructions
  • pre-authorization form
  • tax notification form 402f
  • change of address form.
