Aon Hewitt Names Chief Actuary for Canadian Health and Benefits Practice
Durant is based in Aon’s Toronto office, where he will be responsible for the actuarial aspects of the health and benefits practice, and will also consult with clients. According to the announcement, he joins the firm with twenty years of experience in insurance and consulting management and leadership positions.
Durant is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from Queen’s University where he was the 1990 gold medalist in Mathematics and Statistics.
