April 4 is National Employee Benefits Day

March 14, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) is celebrating the annual National Employee Benefits Day on April 4 with a special Web site for the occasion.

A news release said the IFEBP encourages those with benefit responsibilities including trustees, administrators, practitioners and professional advisers to use the day to recognize themselves and their colleagues for their hard work and dedication in providing quality benefits. Employers are also encouraged to involve their employees in the celebration by reviewing the benefits offered by their organization to increase awareness and understanding.

According to the news announcement, the National Employee Benefits Day Web site has numerous resources to help employers prepare for the day including communicating benefits tips, a full list of benefits employers can offer, and helpful government resources.
