Assurant Employee Benefits Updates App

5, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Assurant Employee Benefits updated its Benefit
Tools application.

The free app allows customers to access their dental insurance cards. Users can also print, fax or e-mail them to their dentists.
Users
can locate dentists and eye doctors near them on a Google map within
the app.
“This update includes many enhancements, and we will continue to look for
opportunities to make our customers’ lives easier through technology” said Karla Schacht, senior vice
president of information technology, chief information officer and chief
security officer.
Customers can use the app to connect with the company via Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and YouTube.
