Audit Prospecting Solution Update at ERISApedia.com
A new feature of ERISApedia.com's Employee Benefit Plan Audit Prospecting ReSource provides insight into plan auditor rotation strategies of a prospective audit provider, the firm explains.
ERISApedia.com has announced enhancements to its Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Audit Prospecting ReSource.
In particular, the firm is highlighting a new feature that allows a user to view the EBP audit firm history back to the 1999 plan year. This feature will help ERISApedia.com subscribers meet the new Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) requirements to disclose auditor tenure for certain retirement plans maintained by publicly-traded companies.
The feature will also provide insight into any plan auditor rotation strategies of a prospective audit client, the firm explains.
As noted by Timothy McCutcheon, publisher of ERISApedia.com, the enhancement will help subscribers more easily and efficiently comply with the new requirements of the PCAOB.
ERISApedia.com provides retirement plan sponsors, administrators, attorneys and advisers with easy access to compliance information and important retirement industry materials. ERISApedia.com also has resources for finding and filtering plan sponsor data from Form 5500 filings and their attachments.
