Repro Products, a growing small, family-run business, specializes in document creation and imaging solutions. Bob and Elaine Feldberg founded the company 45 years ago in their two-bedroom apartment, and they continue to run operations.

Elaine Feldberg’s title is secretary/treasurer, but she also manages human resources and the 401(k) plan. Without a benefits department, she looks to Relationship Manager Dara Duane and Account Manager Dominick Gallares of The Standard for support.

“They’re always extremely busy,” says Duane, who has served this client since 2017; Gallares too knows it well, working with it since 2018. While “Bob’s still at every [401(k) plan] meeting,” Duane says, “they don’t have time to manage the 401(k), and they hired us. I think they really appreciate what Dominick and I bring. I think the key in this relationship is the constant communication. They’re local here in Atlanta, and we try to meet them in person on a quarterly basis, which is a little unique.”

The team is ready to respond when Elaine Feldberg has questions about new laws or the best way to help employees. “They’re a very altruistic company, and they really care about their employees,” Duane says. “They have a lot of tenured [people].” For instance, the sponsor had many questions about how the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act would affect the plan and workers, which they talked over with her. “I think a lot of that goes back to her altruism and caring about her employees,” he says.

Feldberg says she values their responsiveness. “I can’t recall a time when I didn’t get an answer that was helpful and gave me the guidance I needed. Having been in business for 43 years, I can assure you that few achieve these high levels consistently, and Dominick and Dara do.”
