Bear Stearns Hires Chief Investment Strategist

Trahan will join Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. as a managing
director and chief investment strategist, according to a
company news release.

Reporting to head of global equity research Kay Booth, Trahan joins the firm to develop investment strategies for institutional and high net worth clients.
Trahan’s previous employment includes Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., where he oversaw equity recommendations and its stock focus list. Prior to that, he was at Ned Davis Research Group, where he co-authored the monthly asset publication and covered international equity markets.
