Buck Offers Mobile Resource for Employers

August 20, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Buck Consultants has released “Buck on the go,” an iPad application that provides access to thought leadership materials on its website.

Now available in the iTunes App Store, the app provides Buck Consultants’ most recent news, published articles, white papers, client success stories, on-demand webinars, podcasts, newsletters, research, and overviews of consulting services, solutions and tools. Users can e-mail and share any of the pages they view on the app.

“Our website users no longer have to wait until they’re at their desks to access the resources available there,” said Sukanta Nag, CIO of Buck Consultants. “The ‘Buck on the go’ app makes it easy to catch up on missed webinars or the latest legislative developments from an iPad. And, it’s the first of a suite of mobile apps that will give clients and their employees access to benefits information on a grab-and-go basis.”

SunGard’s MyRetirement Offers Spending Plan

August 20, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - SunGard’s MyRetirement income calculator now gives defined contribution plan participants the ability to determine sustainable spending amounts throughout retirement.

Accessible from SunGard’s Relius Plan Participant web portal, MyRetirement uses data automatically extracted from SunGard’s Relius Administration retirement recordkeeping system without requiring the participant to input additional information. For participants desiring a more personalized experience, MyRetirement provides the option to add personal data including outside holdings, preferred allocation, custom assumptions such as retirement age, Social Security benefits, and expected income.

A web-based component of SunGard’s WealthStation Financial Planning, MyRetirement combines probability tools with Monte Carlo analyses to illustrate annual withdrawal rates from multiple model portfolios at different probabilities of success.
