Council to Represent Interests of Benefits Firms

July 5, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Employee benefits pros at insurance agencies and brokerage firms now have a new voice through the Council of Employee Benefits Executives (CEBE).

The Council of Insurance Agents + Brokers (The Council), which represents the property and casualty interests of commercial insurance agents and brokers, has formed CEBE to represent the interests of employee benefits divisions at The Council’s member firms.

The group formed the group recognizing that more resources should be allocated to the employee benefits side of members’ businesses since this area generates a large portion of their total revenues.
