Crane Gets New Transamerica Sales Job

August 9, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Transamerica Retirement Services has promoted Jason Crane to senior vice president and national sales director.

A news release said that Crane will be responsible for overseeing all sales activity for the organization.  He will be based in Chicago and report to Stig Nybo, president of Transamerica Retirement Services.  Crane’s promotion is effective immediately. 

Crane has served at Transamerica for nine years, including the last five as division vice president for the central region. In this role he managed 13 regional vice presidents, and worked with internal and external wholesalers throughout the Midwest.

Prior to that role, Crane spent four years serving as a regional vice president and sales consultant for the Metro Chicago area. Before joining Transamerica, he served as a sales representative for New England Financial.

Crane received his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University of Ohio. 

Ehn Named to M&I Adviser Post

August 9, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – M&I Institutional Trust Services (M&I) has appointed Janet L. Ehn as director of consultant and advisor relations.

Ehn is responsible for leveraging relationships with plan advisers and investment consultants to support and expand M&I’s national retirement plan business.  She reports to Gary Jackson, senior vice president and director of national sales.

Ehn has more than 27 years of financial industry experience, predominantly in retirement services. She joined M&I Institutional Trust Services from Wachovia Retirement Services, where she served as vice president and manager of distribution relations.

Ehn earned her MBA from the University of Wisconsin and a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College.
