DOL to Host ACA Webcast
August 22, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) will be hosting a webcast designed to help workers and families understand the new ACA law.

The DOL’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) announced the webcast. “The Affordable Care Act: How Will It Affect Me?” will take place on Thursday, August 29 from 1 to 2 p.m. EDT. The EBSA staff will be joined on the webcast by colleagues from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
The webcast will discuss the impact of the ACA, also known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, on employment-based group health plans. Staff from the HHS will provide information on purchasing coverage through the new Health Insurance Marketplace. The webcast will also cover new consumer protections that will become available in 2014.
