DST Retirement Solutions Adds Biz Development Director
According to the announcement, Mineweaser most recently served as sales director for Wealth Management Systems, Inc., where he was responsible for new account sales and strategic alliances. He has worked in the retirement plan and information technology industries for 13 years.
“Brian has built strong relationships within the defined contribution market and understands the business challenges retirement plan providers face,” said Jude Metcalfe, president of DST Retirement Solutions. “His responsibility is to help providers identify the customized service model they need to meet their unique operational requirements. We’re proud to have Brian on our sales team, representing our solution to the industry.”
Metcalfe, who was previously CEO at Wealth Management Systems, Inc. (WMSI) (see Wealth Management Systems, Inc. Appoints Metcalfe as CEO ), has also had senior positions at Mellon HR Solutions, Fidelity Investments, and Kwasha Lipton. He was named president of DST Retirement Solutions in 2008 (see Metcalfe to Lead New DST Initiative ).
Servicing nearly 4 million participants, DST Retirement Solutions, DST Retirement Solutions, LLC was formed by DST Systems, Inc. and Boston Financial Data Services, Inc. to “meet the needs of today’s defined contribution service providers.” DST Retirement Solutions is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DST Systems, combines DST’s TRAC technology solution with Boston Financial’s defined contribution full plan administration and recordkeeping unit.
