EBRI Makes Board of Trustees Appointments
The newcomers include Sandy McCarthy of OneAmerica Financial, who takes over as chair.
The Employee Benefit Research Institute has announced appointments to its board of trustees and executive committee.
Sandy McCarthy, the president of retirement services at OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc., will be chair of EBRI’s board of trustees and lead the executive committee. McCarthy previous served as vice-chair, according to the Wednesday announcement. She succeeds past chair Josh Cohen, a managing director at PGIM, who is now an emeritus member of the executive committee.
Jon Kessler, president and CEO of HealthEquity Inc., was named vice-chair of the board and executive committee. Lisa Margeson, a managing director of retirement research and insights at Bank of America, was named chair of the research committee.
