Rob Bañuelos
Senior Vice President, Health Benefit Solutions — National Sales Manager, Bank of America Merrill LynchRob Bañuelos is a senior vice president and national sales manager for Health Benefit Solutions, a unit within Bank of America’s Global Wealth and Retirement Solutions. In this role, Rob leads a team of sales consultants who are responsible for new business development and strategic consulting for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), and Retiree Healthcare products for some of the most prestigious Fortune 500 companies. Rob joined Bank of America in 2008 and has over 23 years of experience in the healthcare industry and as a sales and client relations executive. He is an active member of the HSA Council. Prior to joining Bank of America, Rob served as vice president of consumer-directed healthcare at CVS/Caremark. He also served as the area vice president for the southeast region, managing sales and strategic accounts for CVS/Caremark’s large employer group clients. Rob earned a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Emmanuel College in Boston and is a retired veteran of the United States Navy.

Sara Caddy
Benefits Manager, Dimensional Fund AdvisorsSara Caddy, SPHR, CEBS, SHRM-SCP has been working in the HR and Benefits field for over 20 years. Sara began her Benefits career developing and managing HR and Finance departments for architecture firms in Boston, MA through overseeing and administering Total Rewards. She has extensive experience in managing self-funded health insurance plans and developing cost saving strategies for small to medium sized companies. She has been with Dimensional Fund Advisors in Austin, TX since 2016 and oversees global benefits, including extensive education and communication of their HSA plan to US employees. Sara has a BBA from Baylor University and earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources designation in 2012 and Certified Employee Benefits Specialist and Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional designations in 2015.

Holly Doering-Powell
SVP/Director of Sales and Client Experience, UMB Healthcare ServicesHolly Doering-Powell is senior vice president, director of sales and client experience of UMB Healthcare Services (HCS). She is responsible for the business development and growth strategy of the organization. She has over 25 years of corporate management, business and relationship development, and practical experience in healthcare payments, financial services and information technology consulting.Holly has helped grow the HCS business to $2.6 billion in deposits and more than 1.25 million health savings accounts, along with over 6 million multi-purpose benefit cards. Her background includes a variety of sales, account management and partner development roles across a diverse spectrum of consumer driven healthcare and retirement, benefit administration technology and payment card processing markets. Shad Fagerland
Of Counsel, Ivins, Phillips & BarkerShad specializes in the laws and regulations governing health and welfare plans, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Prior to joining IPB, Shad spent three years at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he drafted regulations and other guidance on topics including the ACA’s employer shared responsibility provisions, employer reporting of offers of health care coverage on Forms 1094-C and 1095-C, and consumer-driven health coverage vehicles such as health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs). He currently represents employers facing IRS audits or investigations, including appeal of employer shared responsibility penalties indicated in IRS Letter 226-J, and counsels employers with regard to all aspects of health and welfare plan design and administration. In addition to health and welfare plans, Shad also has substantial experience with qualified retirement plans, including employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Shad works with employers to assess whether an ESOP is the right fit for their company’s needs and also assists his clients with the various plan administrative issues that are unique to ESOP companies, such as leveraged ESOP refinancing transactions and repurchase liability planning.

Inci Kaya
Healthcare Analyst, Aite GroupInci Kaya works within Aite Group’s Health Insurance practice and covers healthcare payments, health IT, evolving market trends, and vendor evaluations and their implications for industry stakeholders. Ms. Kaya brings to Aite Group 10 years of experience in advisory research, strategic market insights, and analysis working with financial services, IT service providers, and healthcare industry clients. Most recently Ms. Kaya served as the lead in strategic market insights at Computer Sciences Corporation (now DXC), where she provided forward-looking market and strategy guidance to multiple business units, addressing digital transformation, internet of things, enterprise service management, automation, analytics, mobility, hybrid and private cloud, and managed storage services. Prior to that she was a research analyst at Bloomberg BNA’s former subsidiary Kennedy Information, researching the healthcare payer, provider, government, life sciences, and biotech sectors. She began her career as a quantitative analyst at TowerGroup (now part of Gartner) covering key issues at the intersection of financial services and technology, such as consumer-facing technologies; governance, risk, and compliance; sustainable business practices; and automation. Ms. Kaya is an accomplished speaker for knowledge calls, webinars, and conferences. Her knowledge calls, which provided web training on the cloud marketplace and trends, garnered large audiences from sales professionals, and she was ranked among the top 5% of speakers at a financial services annual conference based on participant survey responses. Ms. Kaya holds an MBA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University and enjoys international travel, cultures, languages, and cuisine. She speaks French, Turkish, and Japanese and lives in Boston with her spouse and two children.

Kevin Murphy
Head of Strategic Accounts, Franklin Templeton InvestmentsKevin Murphy is a senior vice president and Head of the Defined Contribution Strategic Accounts team for Franklin Templeton’s US Investment-Only division. He is responsible for directing and expanding sales of mutual funds and sub-advised portfolio products in employer-sponsored retirement plans. In addition to leading the team of Strategic Account Managers, his primary focus is on mid-market advisory firms with a national footprint, and serves as the primary liaison with these firms at their home offices. Mr. Murphy also leads the firm’s Health Savings Account (HSA) initiative. Mr. Murphy’s primary objective is to help more Americans achieve optimal retirement outcomes. He approaches this by offering thought leadership in retirement plan services and investments and working diligently as a key business partner to retirement plan advisory firms, consultants and retirement plan sponsors. His expertise spans qualified plans, investments, current industry trends and Franklin Templeton products and services. Mr. Murphy began his career in the financial services industry in 1999 and joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 2011. Prior to that, he was a regional vice president on Columbia Management’s Defined Contribution Investment Only team. He also served as vice president and regional sales director of corporate retirement plans at Wachovia Retirement Services. Mr. Murphy holds a B.Sc. in Agriculture from the University of Delaware. He was selected by National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) for its list of the Top 100 Defined Contribution Wholesalers in the industry in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. Among his sales accolades, Mr. Murphy was named Franklin Templeton’s Investment-Only Specialist of the year in 2012 and 2014. Kevin, his wife Shannon and their four children reside in Kinnelon, NJ. He is a FINRA registered representative.

Greg Puig

His responsibilities include providing expert advice, developing solutions and executing strategies for current and future Health & Welfare clients. Greg oversees Sentinel Insurance Agency’s consulting team and is focused on helping organizations design, implement, communicate and administer their employee benefit offerings. Kevin Robertson
Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, HSA BankKevin Robertson serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, where he is responsible for leading the growth strategy and organization at HSA Bank. Kevin has worked for HSA bank for five years, and has more than 20 years of experience in banking, insurance, and financial services. Under his leadership, Kevin helped HSA Bank surpass more than $5 billion in assets and 2 million members by 2016. His background covers a variety of sales, business development, and operational roles, and spans a diverse spectrum of employee benefits, insurance, and retirement products and services. In addition to his tenure as a banking executive, Kevin was also a self-employed business owner for 12 years, managing a large insurance operation with more than 25 separate agency locations, and was a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Registered Representative and Principal for eight years. Kevin is a well-known figure in the consumer-directed healthcare industry, especially for his legislative and regulatory efforts as Compliance Committee Chairman of the American Bankers Association HSA Council. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
