Fidelity Names VP of Managed Accounts

September 18, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Fidelity Investments has named Damon Dunkel as vice president of Managed Accounts, effective August 2013.

In this role, Dunkel is responsible for interacting with Fidelity’s largest plan sponsor clients regarding how managed accounts can increase savings rates, provide appropriate portfolio diversification and improve the retirement readiness of their workforce.

Dunkel brings more than 15 years of retirement outsourcing and advisory services expertise to Fidelity. Prior to joining the firm, he spent nine years as regional director with Financial Engines, overseeing a 13-state territory throughout the Midwest.

Prior to Financial Engines, Dunkel spent 10 years with Principal Financial Group and was responsible for total retirement outsourcing sales and consultant relations.

He is a graduate of Simpson College and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Administration and German.
