Financial Wellness Firm Offers Retirement Education
March 27, 2013 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Four Seasons Financial Education has expanded its financial wellness programs to include custom-tailored 401(k) education.
Reported by PLANSPONSOR staff
The expansion is in response to growing demand for retirement education in the workplace. “Over 50% of the companies contacting us today are requesting 401(k) and retirement education as the main focus of their financial wellness program,” said Four Seasons President Travis Freeman. “We think employers are now realizing how much their employees are struggling on the topic of retirement. People aren’t prepared for retirement and this can really affect the bottom line of the business.”
Four Seasons offers unbiased education. It says employers are now seeking independent third parties to provide the primary retirement plan education, as well as overall retirement education on savings strategies, longevity, and Social Security.
