FPS Group Offers Individualized Advice to 403(b) and 457(b) Plan Participants
AdvisorConnect is a support network of plan sponsor-approved, registered financial professionals who specialize in the public-sector retirement space, and one of its key components is the My Financial Wellness Center.
FPS Group, LLC, a solutions provider for retirement plan professionals, plan sponsors and participants in the 403(b) and 457(b) space, has introduced AdvisorConnect to its suite of solutions and tools for 403(b) and 457(b) retirement plans.
AdvisorConnect is a support network of plan sponsor-approved, registered financial professionals who specialize in the public-sector retirement space and has been designed as a value-add to plan participants seeking customized financial solutions.
The new offering is found within FPS Group’s Investment Provider Xchange (IPX) platform. One of the key components of IPX is the My Financial Wellness Center, which uses digital engagement, educational resources and professional support to help users make more informed financial decisions about budgeting, investing, debt elimination, retirement and other areas of financial planning. Participants using the center have immediate access to AdvisorConnect.
“Retirement plan participants are proactively seeking more help in meeting their financial objectives,” says James Olson, managing director of FPS Group. “Financial professionals have the resources and ability to provide the help participants want, but they need help connecting with one another. That is where AdvisorConnect comes in, making it easier for participants to identify and vet advisers who can help them meet their goals.”
AdvisorConnect provides a network of vetted, plan-authorized financial advisers within the My Financial Wellness Center. Employees can use AdvisorConnect to set up a time to speak with an adviser to gain personalized, one-on-one support for any stage of retirement planning. AdvisorConnect also proactively encourages employees to make an appointment through call-to-action emails, which can be sent with the help of the employer. Employers can access adviser profiles, appointment activity and a built-in support system.
“Participants can trust the information they are getting because the advisers are thoroughly vetted through background checks, state licensing requirements and more, ” Olson says. “There is complete transparency for participants and employers, and it facilitates a much better experience.”
AdvisorConnect itself is free for employers and employees who use the IPX My Financial Wellness Center. To learn more about AdvisorConnect, visit https://www.myfinancialwellnesscenter.com.You Might Also Like:
