A Little Friday File Fun
And now it's time for FRIDAY FILES!
Reported by PS
In Keystone, South Dakota, a woman has been arrested for an amazing feat. Authorities say the woman scaled the Mount Rushmore National Memorial with bare feet and no rope, making it to about 15 feet from the top. Several signs at the popular tourist destination warn against trespassing on or climbing the sculpture. According to the Associated Press, A federal officer and national park ranger convinced the woman to come down, and she was handcuffed and arrested.
In Daytona Beach, Florida, a man facing a robbery with a firearm charge just walked out of the courtroom during jury deliberations even though deputies were around. (He was free on bond—but still…) By the time the jury returned with a guilty verdict, the man was missing and he still is.
The stuff of nightmares.
