Reported by Rebecca Moore
The campaign, titled “You’ve got the retirement toolbox – now build your future,” is being used with employers to promote a variety of educational tools from Great-West Retirement Services that can help employees construct a retirement strategy.
According to a press release, the Great-West Retirement Services campaign revolves around a Web site, http://www.save4retirement.net, which includes tools such as:
- Presentations,
- Calculators,
- Quizzes,
- Posters,
- Fliers,
- e-mails, and
- links to additional information.
“With the market swings the past few years, it’s especially important that participants have access to an assortment of educational tools. We believe that our creative 401(k) Day marketing campaign, using the ‘toolbox’ theme through a variety of communications channels, can help encourage employee participation in the plans, increase contribution rates and generally improve the retirement savings of participants,” said Chris Cumming, senior vice president of national 401(k) accounts at Great-West Retirement Services, in the announcement.
