The video helps employers educate employees about the IRS Form 1095-C mandated by ACA.

Anticipating a volume of requests from employees about a new tax form that reports health care offerings and coverage, GuideSpark decided to make introductory communications content available to any U.S. organization, free of charge.

The firm is offering a complimentary video solution designed to help employers educate employees about the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Form 1095-C mandated by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

This upcoming tax season, employers with more than 50 full-time equivalent employees must prove that they offer health insurance coverage to their full-time employees and their eligible dependents, and have to report their offering via the Form 1095-C. These forms must be sent to all employees eligible for coverage, and employees will use appropriate information from the Form 1095-C to file their 2015 taxes. As most employees may be unaware of the form and why it is needed, companies can expect to face a slew of questions when the forms are released, GuideSpark says.

Organizations can also elect to have the 1095-C content customized to reflect their unique company culture, voice and brand for a fee. The 1095-C video content can be accessed here.
