ING Adds to Retirement Services Government Market Team

April 27, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Timothy B. Rouse has recently joined the Government Market Team with ING U.S. Retirement Services.

In this role, Rouse will be responsible for setting sales strategy and focusing on large government business in the eastern part of the United States, according to a press release. He reports to William Jasien, head of the Government Market Team.    

Rouse comes to ING from Fidelity where he served as the Vice President of Market Management for the past 14 years.  Among other industry recognitions, Rouse is a past president and current board member of the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators.

The announcement said ING’s Government Market segment performs administration and recordkeeping services for 457 plans at both the state and local levels. The team includes two business development and sales regions (East and West), and functional areas dedicated to plan administration, strategic relationships, participant education and enrollment, product management, consultant and industry affairs, and general management services.
