Lieb Leaves SEI

September 20, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The former president of SEI Investment Systems and Services is resigning to join another firm.

Richard B. Lieb will resign his position as Executive Vice President effective September 30, 2002, according to SEI, though he will continue as a member of SEI’s Board of Directors.

On October 1st, Lieb will become President & CEO of The Dewey Companies, a real estate development firm in Paoli, Pennsylvania.

Lieb, a 25-year veteran of Oaks, Pennsylvania-based SEI, had been working in a high-level strategy-making position at the firm while concurrently holding the position of Senior Fellow at the SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He had been president of the firm’s Investment Systems and Services business segment during a period of significant growth for the firm for the 11 years prior to that.
