Adjusting to The Cost of Living

Having just come through another summer of fuel and food price spikes, and with newly hiked (and retroactive) state taxes just taking hold, it’s clear that our costs of living are rising, whatever gauges like the consumer price index purport to tell us about the pace of inflation.
