health and benefits business has launched a national

Mercer’s team of specialty consultants work with employers to help them reduce costs, upgrade plan designs, streamline administration, and get the full value of their life, accident, or disability plans, according to a news release. The LAD specialty practice is led by Rich Fuerstenberg, recently recognized as a disability benefits “Power Broker” by Risk & Insurance magazine.
Mercer’s LAD specialty practice helps employers with:
- Price – Mercer uses a fully transparent business model, giving it an unbiased marketplace perspective. As one of the largest producers for the leading life and disability carriers in the market, Mercer is able to get the best price for its clients.
- Approach – Mercer’s well-established process, coordinated with the carriers and tailored to the demands of clients, enables it to operate efficiently and reduce internal administrative costs.
- Solutions – Mercer’s tools, insights and pricing can be adjusted to meet every client’s needs.
- Service – Increasingly, employers need assistance in resolving day-to-day life, accident and disability issues. For clients who would like 24/7 assistance, a dedicated LAD service adviser will work with Mercer clients throughout the year to resolve all issues, big and small.
