NAGDCA Announces 2023 Leadership Award Winners
The awards were presented to government-sponsored defined contribution plan administrators and service providers across five categories.
The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators announced its 2023 Leadership Awards on Wednesday.
The awards were created to “recognize and share members’ brightest ideas and most innovative solutions in topical categories,” according to NAGDCA—the professional association for plan administrators and service providers of government-sponsored defined contribution retirement plans.
NAGDCA’s Leadership Awards are given in five categories, and winners are selected by a volunteer awards committee that reviews and scores each nomination. Plans of all types and sizes were encouraged to submit nominations. Asset size and plan resources were also taken into account during the scoring process.
“The winning programs in each of this year’s five categories demonstrate exceptional results in engaging employees in their DC plans,” stated Matt Petersen, NAGDCA’s executive director, in a press release. “They inspire DC plan administrators nationwide to greater heights of commitment and innovation. Both of these qualities are especially critical now, given the rapidly changing landscape of public sector retirement systems and DC plans’ accelerating importance in enabling plan sponsors to fulfill their promise of helping employees adequately prepare for a secure retirement.”
