Online Tool Assesses Plan Effectiveness
Plan Health Pro uses a series of questions and answers to evaluate a plan’s health, retirement readiness and due diligence.
“We wanted to offer our clients an easy-to-use way to look at defined contribution plans that would objectively assess plan health, while helping document fiduciary responsibilities,” says Rick Luchinsky, senior vice president and head of the firm’s defined contribution investment-only (DCIO) business.
The tool considers factors such as plan objectives, plan design, participant communications and investments. Once the plan sponsor or adviser completes a questionnaire, a personalized report is produced that includes scorecards on a plan’s effectiveness and suggested areas of improvement. The report may then serve as historical documentation of a plan’s progress towards helping its participants achieve retirement readiness.
