PricewaterhouseCoopers Names New CEO

November 15, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - PricewaterhouseCoopers' board has chosen Samuel DiPiazza to fill the shoes of James Schiro, the firm's outgoing chief executive officer.

DiPiazza is currently chairman and senior partner of Pricewaterhouse’s US firm, a position he has held since August last year, after previously heading up Pricewaterhouse’s North American tax-services operations.

The appointment is subject to the ratification by the firm’s 9,000 partners.
