Putnam Loses Large Cap Value MD and CIO
December 3, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Putnam
Investments has announced the departure of Deborah Kuenstner,
Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of the Large
Cap Value and International Value teams.

Kuenstner was also the portfolio leader for the Putnam Classic Equity Fund. She will leave the company at the end of the year, according to a Putnam press release.
Josh Brooks, CIO of Large Cap Equities at Putnam, will assume responsibility for both of Kuenstner’s Value teams. Michael Abata and Ronald Bukovac have been named as co-portfolio leaders for the Putnam Classic Equity Fund. Both have been members of the team for this fund.
Kuenstner had also been a member of Putnam’s Executive Board, joining the company in 1997.
