Robin Lazarow Joins Diversified

June 14, 2011(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Diversified announced that Robin Lazarow has joined the firm as senior counsel and vice president.

According to a company announcement, Lazarow will be responsible for counseling internal and external clients on a wide range of employee benefit matters.

Prior to joining Diversified, Lazarow was a Principal with Mercer and previously practiced law in Massachusetts and New Jersey, specializing in employee benefits and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).  She was the Chair of the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice Group of Mirick O’Connell in Westborough, Massachusetts.  Before joining Mirick O’Connell, she was a partner with Witman, Stadtmauer, P.A., in Florham Park, New Jersey.

Lazarow is a member of the IRS Northeast Liaison Group and an Associated Professional Member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a JD from Rutgers Law School, Newark.

Katz Appointed President and COO of Larch Lane

June 14, 2011(PLANSPONSOR.com) - Larch Lane Advisors LLC announced that David Katz has been named the firm’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Katz comes to Larch Lane with over twenty years of experience in institutional consulting and building investment advisory businesses. He previously served as Co-Founder and Partner of Rocaton Investment Advisors, an investment consulting firm, and worked as a Managing Director of investment consulting firm BARRA RogersCasey and at Goldman Sachs.

Katz replaces current COO, Kevin Mirabile, who will maintain a senior leadership role and serve as an Advisory Director on the firm’s board, according to a press release. Mirabile will also expand his role as a lecturer at Fordham University.
