Russell Taps Zyla for Derivatives Licensing Post

September 20, 2010 (PLANSPONSOR.com) – Russell Investments has turned to Kurt Zyla as Regional Director for Listed Derivatives to oversee the company’s licensing of futures and options based on Russell’s equity indexes.

A news release said Zyla directs global efforts to coordinate expansion into new markets and the development and listing of new products, as well as volume growth for currently available derivatives based on Russell Indexes. He is based in Russell’s New York office.

Zyla brings extensive experience in product development as well as portfolio management to the role, the company said. He most recently worked for BNY Mellon, Mellon Capital Management in San Francisco, as Head of Investment Strategy for Indexes and ETFs.

He holds an MBA from New York University.
