Securian Trust Company Appoints New President

Monke joined Securian Financial Group’s broker-dealer, Securian Financial Services, Inc., in 1999. She moved from TCF Bank where she served as chief compliance officer of their broker-dealer subsidiary.   

Starting as registered investment advisor compliance officer at Securian, she also helped create the investment advisory supervisory and compliance program at Securian Financial Services, according to the announcement. Most recently, she was manager of compliance services.

“Sarah understands what our advisers need to help clients succeed,” said Georg I. Connolly, president of Securian Financial Services, in the announcement.   

Monke earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and her law degree from Hamline University School of Law.
