Sequoia has launched Dataforest, an online resource for total rewards and people policy benchmarking, to assist human resources (HR) personnel with measuring their people programs and practices against industry trends.
Sequioa debuted Dataforest to provide businesses with employee experience data and interactive experiences that make insights easier to discover and understand.
“Business leaders need a way to quickly understand and stay ahead of workplace trends in this distributed work environment,” says Greg Golub, founder and CEO of Sequoia. “Dataforest is the community-driven instance of our people analytics and insights offering organizations with real-time data that can be used to inform people and business strategy.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many changes, including the emergence of hybrid workplaces. As a result, creating and sustaining a supportive, engaging and productive work experience for employees has become harder, Sequoia says.
Workplace changes have resulted in increased demand for employers to quickly evolve how workers are supported. The firm says these changes require a greater understanding of employee-related data and how metrics are compared.
Dataforest data is compiled from Sequoia’s annual “Employee Experience Benchmarking Report,” responses from businesses and insights from the company’s proprietary database. Dataforest users have access to:
- Top trends, tracking the latest trends that unfold on how employers are managing compensation; workplace diversity; diversity equity and inclusion (DE&I); remote work; employee turnover; and benefits;
- Findings, exploring a range of targeted insights on retirement, employee well-being, global mobility and special reports; and
- Surveys, including by participating in topical surveys and sharing how their organization invests in its people.
