Standard Announces Practice Leader for Disability Program
Klachefsky will work with The Standard’s Insurance Services Group and corporate marketing team to promote and enhance the Workplace Possibilities program, a solution for helping keep employees at work and return from disability leave sooner (see Standard Offers Tools to Help HR Manage Disability). He will represent the company at conferences, workshops and other events that concentrate on disability management topics.
He also will work with employers and the broker community to help The Standard respond to marketplace needs and trends by continuing to evolve and design creative disability management solutions.
According to the announcement, prior to coming to The Standard, Klachefsky worked as a national absence management leader in Mercer’s Total Health Management Practice. Before that, he worked for The Standard from 2005 to 2007 as assistant vice president for Managed Disability Programs and Services.
