Participant Survey

For our seventh annual survey, we partnered with data service provider Dynata. The online questionnaire was completed between September 10 and 16 by 1,163 individuals, ages 23 and older. The resulting sample includes a mix of 943 U.S.-based employees, including those with and without access to a defined contribution (DC) plan, and 220 unemployed individuals. An attempt was made to capture meaningful totals across key demographic attributes that are representative of the overall worker population. The tables under Findings offer a glimpse into select participant behaviors. More insights will be published throughout the year. The margin of error of the aggregate results is estimated to be +/– 3%. —PS
