Methodology
The 2023 PLANSPONSOR 403(b) Market Survey questionnaire was fielded from mid-April through May 2023 as a supplement to the annual PLANSPONSOR Recordkeeping Survey and included data as of December 31, 2022. The survey includes data from 19 recordkeepers that reported having 403(b) plan clients. The results were aggregated by industry, plan type, assets and participants.
