TRIVIAL PURSUITS: From where did the brand name Crayola come?

According to Crayola.com, the wife of the founder of the company, Alice (Stead) Binney, coined the name CRAYOLA Crayons.
The name comes from “craie”, the French word for chalk, and “ola” from oleaginous, which means oily. That has been the firm’s trademark name since 1903 when the company was founded.
